My Generation started as a website when internet speeds were 14,400, and a connection had to be made via a trunk call to Reading. Email addresses were just numbers!
Eventually the original Live365 website started offering presenters the opportunity to stream radio shows and in 2003 My Generation joined that. In 2005 My Generation arrived on Skyline Gold and stayed there until 2019. By that time it was also being aired on the BigL (www.biglradio.co.uk) where it remains today, and the pre recorded version has spent over 20 years on stations like 1260 KYA in San Francisco, and Rag FM in New Zealand among others.
The Friday evening live show continues today and is syndicated by a number of stations.
